Brook and Robin Lopez will battle each other on the court Friday night when the Nets take on the Knicks at the Garden for Big Apple bragging rights. First, though, the brothers decided to engage in a tussle of the more cinematic variety.
As a promo for Friday night’s contest, Brook and Robin filmed a lightsaber fight for YES Network, edited with the signature sound effects and music of the Star Wars battle scenes.

Twins Brook (l.) and Robin Lopez will play against each other for the first time since Robin joined the Knicks Friday night when Brook’s Nets visit the Garden.
Robin Lopez is averaging 7.3 points and 6.2 rebounds in his first season with the Knicks in 2015. His 2.5 offensive rebounds per game are tied for the team lead with rookie sensation Kristaps Porzingis.
Brook Lopez, meanwhile, is averaging 20.1 points and 8.3 rebounds for the Nets, who sit in second-to-last place in the Eastern Conference at 5-13. The Knicks are in 11th place at 9-10.
